Christie Brinkley and Alexa Ray Joel get mother/daughter plastic surgery, report says

Alexa Ray Joel talked to People magazine about her new nose job, saying she felt “really good” about the new schnoz.

But Star magazine said that’s just half of the story.

The celebrity tabloid is reporting that mom Christie Brinkley went in for a “mini face lift” at the same hospital within 24 hours of her daughter’s operation.


Joel said of her own surgery that  “I was self-conscious of pictures taken from the side. To some people that’s vain, but at the end of the day, we all want to feel pretty.”

Alexa tells People magazine she couldn't be happier with her new nose...

"I was thinking about getting this for years," says the 24-year-old. "[My nose] always bothered me a little bit. I was self-conscious of pictures taken from the side. To some people that's vain, but at the end of the day, we all want to feel pretty."

It seems like life and culture run in cycles with what’s old becoming new again.

Back in 2005, at the height of the plastic surgery boom, a common occurrence was for couples – husbands and wives, parents and siblings, boy-and-girl friends, gal pals and others – to go under the knife together.

That’s exactly what supermodel Christie Brinkley and her singer-songwriter daughter Alexa Ray Joel did recently.

Moreover, they had cosmetic surgery for all the right reasons!

When interviewing potential patients, plastic surgeons look for the appropriate motivation for having plastic surgery.

Wanting to look like a celebrity, wanting to feel better after a divorce or because somebody else wants you to look better just does not cut it.

Typically, the green light is given when the patient says something to the effect that a particular body part or feature has always been:


 Anyone with eyes can see that Alexa has inherited 99 percent of her mother’s beauty and, apparently, all of Billy Joel’s music talent. So why, many ask, should such an already attractive, gifted person have cosmetic plastic surgery?

Alexa told People Magazine: “I was thinking about this for years..my nose always bothered me a little bit. I was self-conscious of pictures taken from the side.”

Boom! Rhinoplasty is a done deal for New York board-certified plastic surgeon Norman Rowe, M.D. who also performed a mini face lift on mom Christi. Alex’s nose is not radically different; a front view shows just a slightly slimmer nose. (We would love to see a profile!)

Looking at the before and after plastic surgery pictures, you can see Christi’s changes are also very slight, with a lower blepharoplasty (eye bag removal) and softening of the nasolabial lines, the facial folds that run from the corner of the nose to the edge of the mouth.

We would love to see a before and after of her neck. The most prominent neck muscle, the platysma, starts creating a so-called turkey gobbler neck about Christi’s current age (56) and can often use surgical tightening. (Look at some before and after neck surgery pictures.)

Alex Rodriquez and Cameron Diaz called it quits in September 2011 but apparently there are no hard feelings. A-Rod is still gushing over his ex.

“Porn star” Alexia Moore aka Cassandra Malandri was arrested in a sweep of a strip club that offered more than nude shows. (Read the whole story at the New York Daily News.)Photographic evidence shows that Alexia was once an innocent looking girl who became emboldened by excessive plastic surgery.

In the first photo, she has very average normal sized lips. After some sort of lip enlargement, she bore a trout pout.


She also had a succession of breast implants unsuited to her small frame. The first set of implant looked liked small baseballs under her skin. The second set were larger in order for them to hang more naturally. The third set was monstrously large and, I suppose, well suited for being a worker at a strip club. Obviously having large breasts that do not look like they could even be remotely natural is okay in that industry. Yuck.


There are many “rights of passage” in our culture. Whether it be a Jewish boy having his Bar Mitzvah, or a Native American finding his spirit animal, our world is rife with these grand traditions. However, few things can hold a candle to the grand tradition of adult stars getting plastic surgery, and former star turned alleged prostitute Alexia Moore has been happy to continue this long standing ritual. Beginning her career as a rather average looking girl with thin lips, Alexia underwent countless Botox treatments and a possible lip implant in order to gain the “trout pout” look that seems all the rage these days. She also had multiple breast augmentations, taking her from a tiny A-cup, to a very unnatural looking C-cup, to an abnormally huge DD-cup. I guess her surgery was successful, since she achieved the prostitute-ish look she appeared to be going for. Good work Alexia…I guess.

Yes, he’s human and one of Mexico’s leading fashion stylists. Unfortunately, he looks like a plastuc surgery addict.


I think he’s had numerous aggressive plastic surgeries: a few face lifts, an brow lift, hair implants, and a very obvious nose job. Then there is the issue of his lips. Most men do not have full lip and I think he may have lip implants.



Alfredo Palacios is one of Mexico’s leading voices on fashion…and apparently their best Mickey Rourke impersonator. We don’t know much about the man, but we know he visits the plastic surgeon enough that it’s a problem. At first glance, just based off of the smoothness and overdone nature of most of his facial features, we can tell that he’s had at least a face lift, a brow lift, a nose job, and injections of Botox or Restylane all over his face and in his lips.


He also may have had a hair transplant procedure done, as his mop looks a bit fake. All of this work has given him the always scary “puppet face” look, and more specifically has made him look like a puppet version of the guy from The Wrestler. Maybe he can make extra money doing birthday parties or something. Regardless, Alfredo Palacios is yet another case of plastic surgery gone horribly wrong.

Real Housewives Of Orange County’s Alexis Bellino Gets A Nose Job!

There’s something different about Alexis Bellino. Is it her new nose perhaps?

The Real Housewives of Orange County star is finally admitting to a nose job – her first facial plastic surgery, or so she claims! Speaking to the Orange County Register, Alexis explains it’s nothing drastic, but people are wondering if something about her face has changed!


“Most people don’t even know I had a nose job,” she said of the new schnoz she purchased in mid-October, “They notice something [new] about me. It’s perked up my face.”

Alexis reveals it was not only vanity that led her to alter the face God gave her; it was a medical procedure! According to Alexis she got the surgery to help with the debilitating sinus infections she has suffered from for years. And while she was at it, she decided to change the way her nose looked. Apparently there was a bump resulting from when she broke her nose at age six.

Alexis’ employer Dr. Michael Niccole, a board certified otolaryngologist and plastic surgeon, who has also done Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Sheree Whitfield’s breast implants and some of Alexis’ other enhancements, performed the surgery. “She asked me if I could make the tip a little more defined and also file down her bump.”

Sadly, Alexis says she experienced a difficult recovery which took “weeks longer” because it was more than just a cosmetic procedure and she is still slightly swollen. But she loves her new nose! And so does Dr. Niccole! “Wait ’til you see her nose. It’s just perfect,” he enthused. “I don’t want to brag, she’s a pretty girl, I didn’t have Jimmy durante’s nose [to work with]. But wait ’til you see her. It’s really gorgeous.”


Who else loves her new sniffer? Husband, Jim-Blob Bellino! “Oh, he loves it,” Dr Niccole assured. “Thank God. I prayed for about a week on that one.”

For those of you wondering how changing her nose coincides with Alexis’ strict Christian beliefs – there’s no conflicts. WWJD? According to Alexis, He would get a nose job if it made him happy! “I believe it is okay for me to have a procedure done on my body because it boosts my confidence and I believe that God wants me to be happy,” Alexis recently stated in a blog defending her plastic surgery and wardrobe choices. Well, whatever makes you happy Jesus Barbie!

Alexis Bellino is a plastic surgery veteran.

The Real Housewife of Orange County has had work done on her breasts and lips, while also having undergone multiple Botox injections. So she was totally relaxed when going under the knife last month for a nose job, right? Wrong.

Alexis Bellino told The Orange County Register she was in tears prior to the procedure: “Anything to my face I just couldn’t do it," she said, adding that recovery from the operation took weeks.

Separated at birth? Lol, I think not, but Bree’s puffed up kisser, highly arched up brows, and pulled back hairline give her a remarkable resemblance to the transgendered Alexis Arquette. It looks like Bree’s doctor yanked her hairline back too far. Or is she wearing a wig? Who knows?


Not all plastic surgeries are created equal, some trump others. In my book, the mother of all surgeries would have to be gender re-assignment surgery. This brings us to Alexis Arquette. Besides the desire to have a woman’s body parts, Alexis is best known as the sibling of actors, David and Patricia Arquette. Alexis became a woman pretty much before our eyes, as we saw him as a man in films like Pulp Fiction, then a cross dresser in The Wedding Singer, and finally today we see him on red carpets and reality shows as a full on transgendered woman. More power to him, if you don’t want what god gave you, chop it off and start over. Also in his transformation to from he to she, he got herself some breast augmentation and appears to have had perhaps a brow lift, that’s a lot of work! With all that said and done, Alexis looks the part, and if you don’t agree, she can probably beat the crap out of you.

We love Lindsay’s little sister, but these shocking photos make it look like her beauty is not all-natural!

Ali Lohan is only 17, but some recent pics of her make us think she’s already had plenty of plastic surgery!

Ali was photographed at a Beverly Hills salon with her big sister Lindsay on Sept. 6, and we can’t help but notice she looked like a totally different person from just two years ago! We understand she’s still growing up, but it’s hard to not make the leap and theorize she’s had some work done!

Ali Lohan: 'Plastic surgery claims are stupid'


Ali Lohan has blasted 'stupid' claims that she has had plastic surgery. The 17-year-old sister of Lindsay Lohan sparked rumours that she had been under the knife after appearing looking thinned out and longer in the face. But in an interview with the New York Post's Page Six Magazine, the aspiring model denied that her looks are anything but natural. "I was cracking up. Because, like, when would I do that? I'm 17 years old," she said of the rumours. "That's not legal! I would need my mother's signature, and do you think my mum would ever sign off on that? No! "It's stupid. I don't listen to it. It's absolutely not true." Meanwhile she admitted that while she has already been offered drugs, her big sister Lindsay has taught her how to refuse them. "I just say no," she said. "I'm lucky enough that I had my sister to learn from. I've seen people do it to her, so I've learned to be like, 'That's stupid, no.' That's why me and Lindsay are also so close, because we're able to talk about those things together."

Dropping baby fat as well as changing face and body shape are all just parts of growing up.
So while this isn’t proof that Ali Lohan hasn’t gone under the knife, it does provide a very simple, concrete argument for the changes in her face and shape that fans have noticed and demanded an answer to.
